The Locked Down Cypher feat:
Jerome Rex, Jedi Knight, Flow Of Xposure(F.O.X), Jitsvinger, Bathala & Bassface.

The idea for this song came about during our national lock down in South Africa which started on 26 March 2020.

I contacted each artist to find out if they were interested in recording a 16 bar verse on a beat that I would send them. Thankfully all Mc's had the ability to record at home with the exception of one who had to record his verse on a smartphone mic, which at first presented itself as a problem, but a solution was found and in the end it all worked out.

Once all the artists returned the verses, I arranged them in an order that made sense to me. Jitsvinger made the suggestion of getting Chadley Beukes a.k.a Bassface to add his magic by playing the bass line, which just added the cherry on top to complete the song.
The song also features Bathala, a German Mc I've been in contact with since 2017.
