Metalloid Lab Productions is proud to present “Words” by Andy Mkosi and Arsenic. This is the first single off the project that they are currently working on and serves as the perfect introduction to their collaborative work.

Andy Mkosi is young female rapper who hails from Langa Township and is just getting started on a promising hip hop career. Her unique style is characterised by her powerful way with words and the intelligent, sincere content of her lyrics.

The first single off the project in progress, “Words,” is a complex track with a subtle sense of irony which is skilfully woven throughout. Andy speaks candidly about the struggles the people of her country went through for freedom, then juxtaposes this with her ambitions in life, which in comparison, seem trivial - “But I just wanna play with words, rhyme, flow to the beat...” “Words is a one of those tracks that'll get your head nodding and thinking at the same time - the way hip hop is supposed to.
